   easy.

Sometimes playing your piccolo is a tough job.

The sound is harsh, out of tune, totally unpleasant. It's, in one word, frustrating.

Thankfully, there's a solution that makes beautiful piccolo playing simple and easy!

All our staff of professional piccolists started out where you are. We spoiled many hours of practising, so many afternoons, before realising the answer. We wasted money, even asked for loans, to buy new and expensive instruments, before learning the secret to good sound and joyful playing:

The mechanism must be correctly registered.

In fact it must be perfect! It took years of trial and error, but in the end, we realised it's not a matter of money, but a matter of quality: good things working properly. Easy to say, but hard to find. Especially when you're on a budget, which is common for a good flute student, facing the professional world, having already spent a small fortune buying a top flute.

The Storm piccolo by Gemeinhardt is a synthetic piccolo, made entirely in USA, it's easy and enjoyable, with a rich sound. Being direct: it offers a professional quality at an affordable price. Forget the fear of difficult highs and dump lows; just play with joy.

Dante Milozzi

Solo Flute

RAI National Symphony Orchestra

Hi all! I'm Dante Milozzi, first flute of the Rai National Symphony Orchestra. Maybe not everyone knows that in the orchestra I also have the obligation of the piccolo and that I often have to play, especially in large symphonies, parts full of fast changes from the piccolo to flute and vice versa.

For this reason, lately, approaching the retirement age and considerably diminished the desire to study the piccolo seriously, I have been looking for an instrument that would help me in this direction!

Readiness, intonation, stability, reliability and extreme ease of articulation, especially in the acute octave, in addition to the very reasonable price, have literally convinced me to use this lovely instrument !!!

I recommend it not only to those flutists like me who use it occasionally but also to those guys who, not having much money to invest, are looking for an enticing approach towards this "Capriccioso" instrument!

Indeed, the "so-called pure piccolist" will have to object on the best warmth of sound that is obtained from a wooden instrument but on balance and for ordinary mortals, I find in this instrument more merits and conveniences than anything else !!!

Felice Santelli

Soloist - Teacher

I am pleasantly surprised by the ease and readiness of this instrument.

The sound is rich and well balanced in all three octaves, the mechanism precise and reliable. An excellent instrument that has nothing to envy to other of higher level.

Sasha De Ritis

Flutist,

Flute teacher at the A. Scontrino conservatory in Trapani

An instrument that struck me immediately at the first notes for its ease, homogeneity on all three octaves, fantastic intonation.

Excellent value for money...

I would recommend it to everyone, students, professionals, especially those who play little the piccolo and need an easy and ready-to-use instrument.

You will feel at ease both in competitions and in orchestra playing with such an easy and enjoyable instrument: you will be more appreciated by colleagues and this will give you access to new and more exciting work opportunities.

Your practising time will be more effective thanks to this easy and enjoyable instrument: you will not spoil your afternoons repeating uselessly the same excerpt, so you will have more time to relax or to widen your repertoire.

Buying online is the most comfortable way to try an instrument at your ease. You actually have more statutory warranties than buying in a brick shop. You receive your instrument directly at home, and you can try it at ease in a familiar environment, taking the time to ask for suggestions to your colleagues and teacher.
