Easy and joyful play piccolo

Sometimes playing your piccolo is a tough job.

The sound is harsh, out of tune, totally unpleasant.

It's, in one word, frustrating.

Thankfully, there's a solution that makes beautiful piccolo playing simple and easy!

All our staff of professional piccolists started out where you are. We spoiled many hours of practising, so many afternoons, before realising the answer. We wasted money, even asked for loans, to buy new and expensive instruments, before learning the secret to good sound and joyful playing:

The mechanism must be correctly registered. In fact it must be perfect!

It took years of trial and error, but in the end, we realised it's not a matter of money, but a matter of quality: good things working properly. Easy to say, but hard to find. Especially when you're on a budget, which is common for a good flute student, facing the professional world, having already spent a small fortune buying a top flute.

Mypiccolo Mölten is a wooden piccolo, made out of solid ebony, it's easy and enjoyable, and gives a new pleasant picture of what piccolo is. Forget the fear of difficult highs and dump lows; just play with joy.

Mypiccolo Mölten is easy to play, ductile and really homogeneous through the octaves. It has this silky smooth sound and is never harsh, not even in the 3rd octave, thanks to the fact that it is entirely made of wood.

The headjoint I used is a standard. They also offer other options, but I feel comfortable with this one.

Furthermore, it has a very rich sound also in the 1st octave, which is often difficult to obtain with piccolos.

It's definitely an instrument which positively surprised me, and I really enjoyed playing it.

I was worried that with my tiny budget I couldn't find a good instrument, and I have to admit that also the idea of buying a Chinese instrument didn't make me enthusiast. Instead, I got a valid instrument without any noticeable disadvantages.

After a while, the metal barrel between the body and the headjoint moved, and I had to have it glued in place again. Since then, I never had other issues.

I actually recommended this instrument to my fellow students and my friends. I believe it is a first-rate option for serious beginners, being easy for intonation and for the production of sound. Piccolo Moelten is an excellent opportunity for all those flute students approaching the world of piccolo. It is not only a starting point, it can bring you to your first professional experiences.

I doubted that for this budget I could buy a good instrument, reliable enough for my daily professional routine as a jazz player.

If you would ask me the result of this purchase, well, the result is a more than happy flutist!!

It's best feature is sound production: so easy!

I feared that buying a Chinese instrument I would also buy in some disadvantages, but I cannot say I got any. It's just an excellent instrument with a great ratio between price and quality. I didn't even have set up problems, nor I had to go to the technician, and I always make professional use of it.

In the end, my feedback is that I am over-delighted I bought this piccolo.
